Did you know

Did you know that 1kg of virgin cotton can use up to 20,000 liters of water during farming, processing and dyeing? This makes around 4 T-shirts and that doesn't sit right with us. Especially as cotton is often farmed in developing countries where water is already scarce.

Some brands are moving towards organic cotton calling it sustainable, as it does minimise the water consumption.

We wanted to be even kinder to the planet and use recycled cotton.

In comparison to the industry standard, the fabric we use saves around 4330 litres of water per T-shirt!!

  • NOT ANOTHER LONDON x PYRATEX®

Our signature T-shirt is a jersey made from recycled cotton blended with organic cotton, which originates from post-industrial textile cotton waste.

The recycling process is a process where 50% of the energy used is solar. No chemicals are used in the recycling process, which means no pulp is involved: the fibre is, and remains, cotton. We love it and we know you will too.

Our partners are PYRATEX® are already working towards a 100% recycled cotton fabric for T-shirts. So stay tuned for when we make the switch!

  • NOT ANOTHER LONDON x PATCHES

No one does embroidery quite like India and where some designers shy away from praising Indian craftmanship we are super proud of it here at Not Another.

Our embroidery house prides itself in creating highly aesthetic pieces out of recycled embroidery materials, Eco-friendly fabrics and natural dye processes.

They also focus on upholding social compliance standards, and are regularly audited by Intertek, Utthan and Sedhex.

Our patch bases are made using viscose fabric which allows the healing properties of crystals to flow fully

Each patch uses semi precious stones that are responsibly sourced.

Who makes your clothes

We produce our T-shirts in Portugal with our trusted partners who care about craftmanship and quality as much as we do. They are a Sedex (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange) certified. The mission is to make supply chains more socially and environmentally sustainable which aligns with Not Another London's values.

  • NOT ANOTHER LONDON x PACKAGING

Labelling- Many brands use polyester for their labelling – Not Another worked hard to develop a bamboo label.

Bamboo is a fast growing plant but also doesn’t need replanting once harvested which means that it is a naturally regenerating material

Most Importantly, it means that we don’t have to remove the label when recycling the garment.

To package your order, we use 100% bio-degradable mailers that break down and vanish in 6 months. When we use plastic, we ensure that it is fully recycled and we are looking into ways of how to eliminate the use of this completely.

  • NOT ANOTHER LONDON x FIBRELAB

FibreLab is an award-winning textile recycling start-up based in east London. They use a custom-built mechanical shredding machine to
turn post-industrial textile waste into valuable recycled fibre- in our case, Not Another Paper

The paper can then go into recycling bins to be further recycled.

    Find out more at www.fibrelab.co.uk

Not Another will offer customers the chance to return their used garments back to us to recycle back into more paper.
